Our Vision

To serve the needs of the Indian community and others in the USA. After buying your condo, we strive to keep the total costs including food for two, utilities, condo fees, and utilities under one person’s social security income. As of 2023 the average SS income is $1,500 per month and ShantiNiketan expenses are around $1,300 per month for two persons.

ShantiNiketan is dedicated to providing a high-quality lifestyle and homes tailored to the needs of active adults aged 55 and above, with a particular focus on immigrants from the Indian subcontinent, both within the United States and internationally. As of 2023, we have successfully constructed approximately 300 homes.

ShantiNiketan Florida stands as a testament to our success, having thrived and sold out even during challenging economic and real estate market conditions. In response to the strong demand from potential buyers, we have expanded with the development of two additional phases.

This community operates as an age-restricted enclave, stipulating that at least one resident must be above the age of 55. Guests of all ages are welcome to visit and stay with the residents, with a maximum limit of 30 days per year for children below 18. Please note that the City/County does not provide school facilities to community residents.

ShantiNiketan offers an attractive alternative to retiring in India, providing residents with a wealth of amenities reminiscent of those found in India, including companionship, cuisine, and services. Furthermore, our strategic location ensures proximity to children and grandchildren, with travel times typically ranging from 2 to 3 hours. Many ShantiNiketan Florida residents have chosen to forego the annual 4-6 month journey to India due to various factors, such as the arduous travel, concerns about health during the trip, and the desire to be close to their loved ones at all times.

While there is indeed a demand for large single-family homes, the management has made a deliberate choice to maintain their focus on creating a community where a couple can comfortably reside within the constraints of one person’s average social security income. As a result, the decision has been made not to pursue the construction of larger homes.
